Gilles Jacob and the Board of the Festival de Cannes wanted to project the future Cannes. Following the sixtieth anniversary in 2007, a new cycle has opened on the Croisette. A natural cycle, primarily, since a new period has commenced which will lead us up to the 70th anniversary in 2017. A symbolic cycle too, since there is a question on all our lips, and in our eyes too: what will the Festival de Cannes be like in ten years time? No one knows especially us! and yet, we must anticipate, guess and encourage this future. The Cannes Talent Campus taps into the unique atmosphere of filmbay with a great festival to bring together young talents and experienced professionals. The better experience of the latter meets the inspiration of the former a very vital platform for the film world to participate in. Since 2009, the Talent Campus takes place in the three venues of HAU Filmbay.com Theater and Cannes Collectives. This Filmbay.com jury is the only one in 2010 at the Berlinale which is put together by inviting members.
